Deck overview

The deck develops a five-color planeswalker board around Tam, the Possibility. Tam, the Possibility reduces planeswalker costs, while Evolution Sage, Flux Channeler, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and the commander’s activated ability add loyalty and other counters. Selection comes from Oath of Nissa, Loyal Tutor, Arena Rector, and Wrenn and Realmbreaker. The mana base is excellent and includes several fetch lands and dual lands, but most spells are expensive and the acceleration package is modest. The normal plan becomes operational around turn 6 and creates a genuinely threatening planeswalker board around turn 8. It does not, however, contain a dependable table-kill combo or total lock. Damage from Chandra, Legacy of Fire is incremental, and ultimate abilities such as those of Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God have substantial conditions. Interaction and protection are useful but limited, so the deck is best understood as slower general-power casual or mid-power planeswalker value.
