Deck overview

This Boros Voltron deck pairs Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to bypass the traditional weaknesses of single-target Voltron strategies. Ardenn circumvents high equip costs by attaching Equipment for free at the beginning of combat, while Kediss mirrors commander combat damage to all opponents at once. Massive stat boosts from Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, and damage multipliers like Inquisitor's Flail allow the deck to threaten lethal damage across the entire table starting on Turn 4. The deck relies heavily on commander synergy and proactive aggression, using Sunforger and targeted protection spells to keep its threats alive. However, low land count and thin ramp leave little margin for mana screw, and high reliance on creature commanders creates vulnerability to well-timed spot removal and sweepers.
