Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Artifact Midrange strategy commanded by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. The primary game plan revolves around early deployment of cheap artifacts, mana rocks, and utility engines to steadily build speed counters through combat damage. Once speed is established, the deck transitions into a compounding value engine that generates evasive tokens with Sai, Master Thopterist and Efficient Construction while drawing cards via Padeem, Consul of Innovation and Uthros Research Craft. The win condition centers on converting large, wide artifact boards into overwhelming airborne combat damage using Cyberdrive Awakener, Kappa Cannoneer, or Myr Battlesphere. Defensive ward abilities and targeted countermagic provide operational shielding against single-target disruption, while asymmetric sweepers like Organic Extinction clear the path for lethal strikes across Turns 6 through 8.
