Symbiotic Swarm by Lorq

Format: Commander

Commander: Kathril, Aspect Warper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is an Abzan keyword-counters reanimator deck helmed by Kathril, Aspect Warper. The plan is to fill the graveyard early with self-mill cards like Satyr Wayfinder, Grisly Salvage, Nyx Weaver, and Splinterfright, stocking it with keyword-carrying creatures such as Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Akroma, Angel of Wrath, and Cairn Wanderer. Casting Kathril then copies every keyword found in the graveyard onto a single creature - usually Kathril itself - creating an enormous hexproof, indestructible, double-striking flying trampler. A deep reanimation suite (Ever After, Unburial Rites, Deadbridge Chant, Soul of Innistrad, Reveillark) and keyword-spreading pieces like Odric, Lunarch Marshal, Slippery Bogbonder, and Nesting Grounds back the plan. The deck wins through combat and commander damage; there are no infinite combos. It is a slow, value-driven engine that gets more dangerous the deeper the graveyard gets, and it is heavily dependent on that graveyard staying intact.
