Xyris, the Writhing Storm turns forced card draw into a Snake army. You play group-draw enchantments and artifacts that make every opponent draw extra cards each turn, and each extra draw creates a 1/1 Snake. Those Snakes become the win through Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors for direct damage, Vicious Shadows and Goblin Bombardment for death triggers, or Altar of the Brood for mill, with combat as backup. The Locust God acts as a hidden commander, converting your own draws into hasty Insects and enabling a Skullclamp loop with Cryptolith Rite and Phyrexian Altar. Xyris also draws cards on combat damage to refuel and make more Snakes.
