Vren, the Relentless leads a Dimir Rat typal deck that converts opposing creature deaths into a lethal rodent army. Vren provides built-in graveyard hate by exiling dying enemy creatures, then spawns scaling Relentless Rat tokens at each end step. The deck pairs asymmetrical board wipes like Swarmyard Massacre, Crippling Fear, and Toxic Deluge with forced sacrifice effects like Grave Pact and Sheoldreds Edict to clear enemy boards and generate enormous board presence. You win through wide combat damage bolstered by anthem lords such as Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm and Coat of Arms, incremental life drain from Ayara, First of Locthwain and Mirkwood Bats, or an infinite Rat combo with Marrow-Gnawer and Thornbite Staff.
