Commander: Mirko, Obsessive Theorist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mirko, Obsessive Theorist pilots a Dimir graveyard control and reanimator strategy centered on repeatable surveil triggers. Mirko grows with each surveil action and reanimates creatures with power less than his own during each end step. Early game focuses on filling the graveyard with high-impact targets using targeted entomb effects and cheap surveil spells. The deck mitigates finality counters through counter manipulation using cards like Nesting Grounds, Power Conduit, and Fain, the Broker. Game-ending lines rely on looping devastating threats like Archon of Cruelty, Grave Titan, Massacre Wurm, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, ultimately overwhelming the table or casting a resolved Rise of the Dark Realms.
