Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white combat control and hatebear strategy helmed by Odric, Master Tactician. The primary game plan establishes early board presence using efficient low-cost creatures and token generators across the first three turns. On Turn 4, deploying Odric unlocks total mastery over combat on Turn 5, allowing attacks to bypass all blockers or pick off opposing utility creatures at will. To slow down opposing combo and engine decks, the list integrates potent asymmetric stax artifacts like Cursed Totem, Rest in Peace, and Weathered Runestone, which leave Odric's triggered abilities completely unaffected. The deck defends its board with premier protection magic, including Clever Concealment, Teferi's Protection, and Flare of Fortitude. While the deck excels at dictating combat and shielding its assets, its fair damage output requires multiple turn cycles to close out games against three opponents.
