land fall by gruulnews

Format: Commander

Commander: Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor commands a proactive Naya landfall deck that turns rapid land acceleration into overwhelming combat pressure. The primary game plan ramps ahead of the curve, triggers Obuun to grow into a formidable threat, and animates lands into large trample attackers each turn. Secondary win conditions leverage wide token swarms from Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Felidar Retreat, which quickly balloon in power through repeated land drops. Decisive victories are achieved by chaining extra combat phases with Moraug, Fury of Akoum, turning all lands into lethal indestructible creatures with Sylvan Awakening, or pushing lethal commander damage.
