Deck overview

This deck leverages Scion of the Ur-Dragon as a command-zone toolbox engine that doubles as an efficient graveyard enabler. By activating Scion's ability for two mana, you tutor high-impact Dragons directly into your graveyard while turning Scion into a lethal copy of those threats. Early turns focus on mana fixing and ramp to navigate a basic-heavy five-color land base. Once Scion enters play on Turn 4 or 5, it threatens rapid commander-damage eliminations using Atarka, World Render or Thrakkus the Butcher. Simultaneously, mass reanimation spells like Primevals' Glorious Rebirth and Victimize return entombed Dragons such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm and The Ur-Dragon to overwhelm opponents in combat. Protection pieces like Dragonlord Dromoka and Rhythm of the Wild ensure key plays resolve smoothly.
