Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an exhibition-style Turtle tribal deck that leverages high-toughness creatures and graveyard recursion led by Muldrotha, the Gravetide. The game plan revolves around developing dense-bodied Turtle threats such as Ancient Adamantoise, The Pride of Hull Clade, and Fecund Greenshell, then converting their high defensive stats into offensive power via toughness-damage assigners like Bedrock Tortoise, Assault Formation, and Treefolk Umbra. In the early turns, the deck ramps with land-search and rock effects while establishing +1/+1 counter engines or defensive blockers. By Turn 5, it establishes an operational board, deploying Muldrotha to generate recurring card advantage from the graveyard. Between Turns 6 and 8, the deck applies lethal combat pressure through massive unblocked or hexproof attacks, backed by defensive locks like Spore Frog and Glacial Chasm loops. While lacking fast stack interaction and tutors, the deck excels at sustained attrition and overwhelming battlefield presence.
