Format: Commander

Commander: Jegantha, the Wellspring and Jodah, the Unifier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color 'legends matter' deck built around Jodah, the Unifier as the actual commander, with Jegantha, the Wellspring as the companion. The primary plan is to play Jodah, then cast high-mana-value legendary spells from hand so his trigger chains into free legendary cards; the resulting Jodah-pumped board wins in one combat. Secondary paths use Sisay, Weatherlight Captain, The Arkenstone // Seek the Heart, or The World Tree to tutor Najeela, the Blade-Blossom, Maelstrom Wanderer, or Purphoros, God of the Forge. Najeela acts as a hidden extra-combat hero, while Purphoros and World Tree offer a burn finish. Recursion from Primevals' Glorious Rebirth and Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant // Phoenix, Warden of Fire rebuilds after wipes.
