The reaper, King no more by cp93

Format: Commander

Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund -1/-1 counter deck is built around turning every counter into tokens, cards, and life loss. Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons acts as the hidden commander, with Nest of Scarabs and Flourishing Defenses creating a token army whenever counters land. Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and The Scorpion God keep counters flowing while Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat drain opponents through sacrifice. The Reaper, King No More is a late-game value piece that steals creatures killed by your counters rather than the primary engine. The deck can win through infinite loops such as Devoted Druid plus Mikaeus, through mass drain, or by beating down with tokens and stolen creatures. It is resilient but slow, and has no stack interaction.
