Deck overview

This deck is a mid-power Jeskai spellslinger strategy helmed by Narset, Enlightened Master. Instead of running the traditional competitive suite of extra-turn spells and fast mana, the deck adopts an interactive midrange build focused on cheating planeswalkers, equipment, and board clears into play via Narset's combat trigger. Supported by secondary spell engines like Kykar, Wind's Fury, Saheeli, Sublime Artificer, and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, the deck generates board presence while disrupting opponents with sweepers and spot interaction. Because more than half of the deck consists of lands and creatures that cannot be cast off Narset's ability, each combat trigger yields steady incremental value rather than an immediate table-ending combo. Victory is typically achieved through repeated combat steps powered by Aggravated Assault, commander damage boosted by Blackblade Reforged, or large token swarms.
