Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic build centered on Ezuri, Claw of Progress. It floods the early board with low-cost mana dorks and utility creatures with power 2 or less to rapidly amass experience counters. Once Ezuri enters, each small creature entry fuels permanent experience counters on the player. The deck converts these counters into overwhelming card draw through creatures like Fathom Mage and Cold-Eyed Selkie, or unblockable lethal combat damage using Champion of Lambholt and Invisible Stalker. Its primary win condition is a compact combo with Sage of Hours, which takes infinite extra turns once Ezuri provides five or more counters at combat. Secondary lines generate infinite mana through Staff of Domination, Umbral Mantle, or Freed from the Real attached to scaling mana creatures like Marwyn, the Nurturer or Kami of Whispered Hopes, closing games via Walking Ballista or overwhelming creature swarms.
