Deck overview

This deck is a Simic land-focused strategy commanded by Omo, Queen of Vesuva. It centers on distributing everything counters to lands and creatures, granting them all subtypes simultaneously. By giving lands every subtype, the deck breaks the parity of specialty lands such as Cloudpost, Urza's Tron lands, and Gates. Once assembled on Turn 4, these lands produce massive mana pools that fuel mid-to-late game powerhouses. The deck transitions into a must-answer threat around Turn 6, using payoffs like Apex Devastator, Avenger of Zendikar, or a 20/20 Marit Lage via Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage. Combat damage closes out the game around Turn 8. While the deck boasts immense mana acceleration and rapid commander recovery, its reliance on combat damage and light interactive suite leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and fast combo strategies.
