Deck overview

This is a hyper-efficient mono-black storm/combo deck helmed by Gwenom, Remorseless. The plan leverages dense fast mana (moxen, rituals, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith) and an elite tutor suite to assemble compact win lines: Doomsday piles, Tendrils of Agony storm, Chain of Smog + Professor Onyx infinite drain, Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir, or Peer into the Abyss. Gwenom functions as a command-zone Bolas's Citadel-once she attacks (enabled by haste gear), you play from the top paying life, converting life total into a massive temporary hand. Secondary drains via Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Susurian Voidborn provide backup. The deck plays like a cEDH-adjacent black combo list: mulligan aggressively for mana + tutor, protect the window with Defense Grid/Conqueror's Flail, and close before the table stabilizes.
