Sephiroth by user4418342

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck uses Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER as a drain and draw engine. You sacrifice creatures to draw cards and trigger drain effects, then flip Sephiroth into One-Winged Angel after four deaths in a turn for a permanent drain emblem and mass draw on attack. The primary plan assembles a free sacrifice outlet, a recursive creature, and a drain payoff to loop deaths for lethal. Secondary paths grind value with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Syr Konrad, and Bolas's Citadel or control the board with Grave Pact effects. Ayara and Yawgmoth act as hidden commanders that provide redundant drain and card flow when Sephiroth is unavailable.
