Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Selesnya Stax and Hatebears strategy commanded by Yasharn, Implacable Earth. The deck's primary goal is to slow opposing fast mana, combo lines, and spell velocity by deploying dense asymmetric tax and denial permanents during Turns 1 through 3. Yasharn, Implacable Earth enters to shut down entire archetypes by prohibiting nonland sacrifices and life payments, effectively disabling fetchlands, Treasure tokens, and black tutor lines while ensuring consistent land drops. Behind this protective wall of disruption, the deck accesses efficient card advantage engines and tutors to assemble the infinite-damage combination of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista on Turn 5. If the primary combo is contested, the deck seamlessly pivots to backup win conditions, including a complete land-lock using Nature's Revolt alongside Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, permanent damage immunity with Solemnity, or an overwhelming combat overrun powered by Craterhoof Behemoth.
