Doom WINS by Ojibrando

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a midrange Grixis Villain tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria that weaponizes discard and connive. Doom turns every land discard into table-wide drain and gives a free menace-connive trigger at the start of combat, so the deck floods the board with Villains, filters through its library, and grows bodies with +1/+1 counters. Payoffs like Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, Ultron, Unlimited, Captain Howler, Sea Scourge, and Living Laser convert that discard/connive engine into tokens, pumps, and combat damage, while Tectonic Reformation and cycling duals deliberately feed Doom's land-drain clause. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through attrition combat, chip drain, and occasional explosive turns off mayhem or token copies. Secondary axes include historic draw from Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain and exile-cast value from Containment Construct and Moonstone, Harsh Mistress.
