Deck overview

Chief Magistrate of Mercadia is a Boros token engine built around the monarchy. The primary plan is to become the monarch early, cast the commander on turns five or six, and let its upkeep trigger multiply every creature token; token doublers like Anointed Procession, Mondrak, and Ojer Taq turn that sequence into an exponential swarm. Secondary paths are the Court cycle's monarch payoffs, Assemble the Legion and Prosperous Partnership for incremental tokens, and Aurelia plus Helm of the Host as an optional infinite-combat finish. The commander acts as both monarch enabler and primary token multiplier. There is no hidden commander. The deck controls the table with tax effects and protects its snowball with instant-speed flicker and indestructible effects.
