Deck overview

This Selesnya deck combines +1/+1 counters, power scaling, and aggressive aerial combat led by Storm, Queen of Wakanda. The strategy accelerates mana on early turns using efficient mana dorks and land-search spells, setting up synergistic beatsticks like Sovereign Okinec Ahau and Bast, Panther Goddess. Once Storm enters combat, her attack trigger grants massive power boosts and flying to companion attackers, turning grounded threats into lethal aerial strikes while discouraging incoming airborne attacks. Combat draw engines like Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar keep resources flowing as threats connect. Defensive staples such as Magus of the Moat and Heroic Intervention protect the board and suppress opposing aggression. The deck finishes opponents across consecutive mid-game turns by scaling counters exponentially, doubling combat stats with Unnatural Growth, or casting Akroma's Will for an unblockable, lethal swing.
