Deck overview

This deck is a hyper-efficient Esper tempo and reanimator deck built under the companion restriction of Lurrus of the Dream-Den, meaning every permanent card in the 99 costs 2 or less mana. Commanded by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist, the deck leverages cheap looters, discard outlets, and utility creatures to convert discarded cards into formidable 4/4 black Zombie tokens for {2}{U}. The low curve allows the deck to flood the board rapidly while maintaining steady card flow through engines like Psychic Frog, Esper Sentinel, and Lurrus of the Dream-Den. Disrupted boards are effortlessly recovered using potent mass reanimation sorceries such as Raise the Past, Ascend from Avernus, and Fix What's Broken. Winning through resilient combat pressure and recursive disruption, the deck excels at grinding down opponents through card advantage and mana efficiency.
