Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir Spellslinger Control list commanded by Lord of the Nazgûl. The primary strategy revolves around deploying the commander on Turn 4 or 5 and leveraging a dense suite of cheap and free instant-speed spells to construct an army of 3/3 Wraith tokens with menace. As the Wraith count swells, cards like Raise the Palisade and overloaded Cyclonic Rift clear opposing boards, while Nazgûl and Ring-temptation triggers rapidly pump the team toward lethal combat steps. The deck backs up its board development with an elite disruption suite featuring Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deadly Rollick, which simultaneously protect the commander and advance the token engine. Powerful standalone engines like Rhystic Study, The One Ring, and Bolas's Citadel provide continuous card velocity, while Notion Thief and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse punish opponents' draw steps.
