Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai kindred midrange strategy that blends Elf mana acceleration with Faerie tempo and evasion under Maralen, Fae Ascendant. In the early game, cheap mana dorks and rocks accelerate into early Faerie token generators like Bitterblossom and Alela, Cunning Conqueror. On turn 4, deploying Maralen turns every subsequent kindred creature into library theft and free spells. The midgame leverages steady card advantage from Kindred Discovery, Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, and Talion, the Kindly Lord while holding up efficient countermagic and removal. Critical pressure is achieved around turn 6 through evasive flying swarms boosted by Shadow Puppeteers, anthem lords like Glen Elendra Liege, or a late-game Craterhoof Behemoth. The deck trades linear combo speed for high interactive resilience, strong recovery, and compounding board presence.
