Deck overview

This is an X-spell tribal deck commanded by Magus Lucea Kane, who doubles every X-cost spell or ability you cast while also distributing a +1/+1 counter each combat. The deck's primary plan is to ramp rapidly, deploy large Hydras and other X-cost creatures (Shivan Devastator, Goldvein Hydra, Broodlord) that become enormous, then either finish through combat (often with trample from Klauth's Will or Nev, the Practical Dean) or with a massive copy of Crackle with Power. In the absence of tutors, the deck relies on drawing into its synergistic pieces, with creature-based mana engines (Seedborn Muse, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Kruphix, God of Horizons) providing the fuel for game-ending X-turns.
