Deck overview

This Boros spellslinger deck centers on Lorehold, the Historian, using its unique ability to miracle any instant or sorcery drawn during opponents' upkeeps for just two mana. By pairing Lorehold with top-deck stackers like Penance and Library of Leng, the deck turns discard triggers into instant-speed bombs. In the early game, cheap mana rocks and untapping artifacts like Victory Chimes establish the mana base. On Turn 4, Lorehold enters with haste, setting up an explosive Turn 5 onset. Massive spells such as Storm Herd, Furygale Flocking, and Deploy to the Front create overwhelming token armies on opponents' turns for a fraction of their normal costs. Supporting burn engines like Guttersnipe and Caldera Pyremaw chip down life totals with every cast. Indestructible protection spells shield the board through one opponent turn cycle, allowing a lethal airborne combat assault to eliminate the table on Turn 6.
