Deck overview

This is a high-power Esper control-combo deck helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The game plan layers life-loss triggers, noncreature-spell payoffs, and pillowfort into a value engine that draws cards and drains the table, then closes with compact infinite loops or a classic library-exile win. Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is the central engine: her end-step draw rewards any turn where a player lost 4+ life, and her cast trigger pings each opponent for 2 (and gains 2) whenever you cast a noncreature spell of mana value 3 or greater. Primary wins are Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, and the interlocking Exquisite Blood / lifegain-to-drain package (Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, Bloodthirsty Conqueror). Secondary pressure comes from aura-based damage draw (Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, Helm of the Ghastlord), stax-lite taxes, and attrition via Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Kambal, Consul of Allocation.
