Deck overview

This mono-blue deck is led by Victor Timely, Wily Tycoon, focusing on an engine of looting, blinking, and graveyard spell recursion. In the early game, cheap draw and discard spells fill the graveyard with high-value targets such as Ancestral Vision, Panharmonicon, and token-cloning sorceries. Once Victor enters the battlefield on Turn 4 or 5, he immediately casts one of these key spells without paying its mana cost. The deck multiplies this value by chaining flicker instants like Ghostly Flicker and Displace alongside trigger doublers such as Roaming Throne and Starfield Vocalist. In the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages Peregrine Drake for massive mana generation, setting up decisive finishes through Aetherflux Reservoir activations, large storm counts with Brain Freeze, or an alpha strike powered by Candlekeep Inspiration.
