Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a high-synergy threat-theft and clone attrition strategy commanded by Edea, Possessed Sorceress. The deck's primary engine revolves around stealing opposing creatures at the beginning of each combat, attacking with them using granted haste, and then leveraging sacrifice outlets or flicker effects to extract overwhelming card advantage and board control. Cards like Thassa, Deep-Dwelling permanently keep stolen permanents, while nonlegendary clone effects such as Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and Irenicus's Vile Duplication multiply Edea's combat triggers to seize multiple threats per turn. Additional combat engines from Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Bloodthirster accelerate the clock by triggering repeated theft and combat steps. The list is anchored by format-defining free interaction, including Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, Deadly Rollick, and Force of Will, alongside premium card engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study, creating a resilient, interactive, and aggressive combat-control deck.
