Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu aggressive midrange strategy helmed by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The game plan revolves around exploiting attack-triggered abilities, multiplying token production, and layering aristocrat drain effects. By doubling triggers on creatures with mobilize such as Bone-Cairn Butcher, Zurgo, Thunder's Decree, and Hero of Bladehold, the deck rapidly swarms the board with disposable attackers. When these tokens attack and subsequently sacrifice at the end step, death triggers from Bastion of Remembrance, Nadier's Nightblade, and Brutal Hordechief convert combat presence into table-wide life drain. The deck operates primarily on curve, assembling its board by Turn 4 and threatening lethal damage by Turn 6. While resilient to single-target removal thanks to high threat density and backup doublers like Windcrag Siege, the list lacks fast mana and dedicated sweep protection, requiring careful sequencing into open mana.
