Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir midrange strategy centered on Ultron, Unlimited, leveraging the connive mechanic to filter cards, buff creatures, and generate an army of 2/2 Robot Villain tokens. The opening turns focus on establishing mana fixing and deploying low-cost Villains. Ultron enters early to attack and trigger connive, converting spare mana into artifact creature tokens each combat. Midgame turns expand this board presence using synergy pieces like Leader, Super-Genius, Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, and Moonstone, Harsh Mistress, which turns discarded cards into playable resources. Top-end threats such as The Masters of Evil and Doctor Doom pump the token swarm and provide resilience against opposing blockers. Interaction includes targeted removal and countermagic to protect key combat steps, while cards like M.O.D.O.K. suppress opposing go-wide strategies. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents through wide, evasive combat damage.
