Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron list commanded by Captain America, First Avenger. The core game plan focuses on casting efficient mana rocks on the early turns, resolving Captain America on Turn 3, and deploying high-power Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Hammer of Nazahn on Turn 4. Captain America's Catch ability completely bypasses hefty equip costs by attaching Equipment at the beginning of combat for free. This establishes an immediate 14+ power commander damage clock while his Throw ability converts unattached weapons into direct burn and creature removal. The list features dense functional redundancy in aggressive Equipment, evasive modifiers, and robust defensive shielding through cards like Commander's Plate, Flawless Maneuver, and Boros Charm. While its card draw is reliant on non-tutorable creatures in the ninety-nine and it lacks hard stax locks, the deck delivers fast, resilient combat pressure that systematically eliminates opponents by Turn 6.
