Caesars' Legion by Jacobycoleman

Commander: Caesar, Legion's Emperor

Deck overview

This is a Mardu Soldier-token aggro list built around Caesar, Legion's Emperor. The plan is to flood the board with Soldiers, attack, and feed Caesar a sacrifice so his trigger can mint two hasty attacking tokens, refill the hand, and convert token count into direct damage. The 99 is a tribal beatdown pile - lords, mobilize and attack-token effects, and two extra-combat payoffs - rather than a combo deck. Assemble the Legion, Launch the Fleet, and Call the Coppercoats grow the army; Warleader's Call and Witty Roastmaster tax the table as bodies enter; True Conviction, Hexplate Wallbreaker, and Full Throttle turn a wide board into a lethal swing. Caesar is the primary draw engine and a repeatable burn outlet, but he is not a hidden combo piece, and the Soldier plan still functions if he is answered. There is no infinite combo; games end through combat and Caesar's token-scaled damage. The mana base is mostly basics, so the four-mana commander and several color-intensive finishers come with a real setup tax.
