Commander: Gluntch, the Bestower

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gluntch, the Bestower leads a group-hug politics deck that turns opponent generosity into card advantage, mana, and +1/+1 counters. The primary plan is to accelerate everyone with extra draws, extra lands, and Treasures while deploying pillow-fort pieces that make attacking you expensive or impossible. Gluntch's end-step triggers are used politically to buy peace, while counter synergies like Hardened Scales, Conclave Mentor, and Kami of Whispered Hopes turn the counters into mana and bigger threats. The deck finishes by outvaluing opponents with mass card draw, then closing with commander damage from Sergeant John Benton, a large trampling Gluntch, or a copied threat from Helm of the Host. It is a casual, political build that wins through attrition and combat rather than combo.
