Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a synergistic Vampire tribal aristocrats build led by Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher. The game plan revolves around deploying aggressive, synergistic low-mana Vampires, establishing sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer and Bartolomé del Presidio, and casting Carmen to serve as both an evasive scaling threat and a repeatable reanimation engine. The deck pressures the table through a dual-axis strategy: aggressive flying and menacing Vampire combat damage alongside life-drain attrition from staples like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker. While it possesses strong mid-game card flow through graveyard recursion and death triggers, it relies heavily on creature combat and unprotected permanents, making it susceptible to sweepers and graveyard interaction before it can close out games across multiple attack rotations.
