Deck overview

This is a Grixis midrange-control deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord and a dense Nazgul package. Sauron taxes the table by amassing Orcs whenever opponents cast spells, then converts Army combat damage into Ring temptations that can discard-and-refill for four cards. Nine Nazgul grow whenever the Ring tempts you, creating a deathtouch swarm that quickly outscales fair boards. The deck layers classic reanimation (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy, Victimize) with premium tutors and a heavy instant-speed interaction suite to police the table while the Army and Wraiths take over. Secondary pressure comes from aristocrats drains (Blood Artist, Goblin Bombardment), Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreading commander damage, and burst multipliers like Isengard Unleashed. There are no infinite combo lines; the plan is grindy value into overwhelming combat.
