Commander: Selenia, the Cursed Heart

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Selenia, the Cursed Heart leads an Orzhov Angel lifegain/drain deck that snowballs a massive life total into several overlapping win conditions. The commander doubles every life-gain trigger, supercharging lifelink Angels like Lyra Dawnbringer and Archangel of Thune, fueling draw payoffs in Well of Lost Dreams and Dawn of Hope, and converting life directly into damage via Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Aetherflux Reservoir. The primary kill is the classic two-card loop of Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood; backup wins come from Test of Endurance at 50 life, Angel of Destiny's end-step defeat trigger, and an evasive flying beatdown protected by Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Sephara, Sky's Blade. A deep recursion package - Living Death, Patriarch's Bidding, Emeria the Sky Ruin - rebuilds the board after wipes, making this a grindy midrange inevitability deck rather than a fast combo list.
