Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-red artifact-burn strategy commanded by Jaws, Relentless Predator. The game plan accelerates into an early Jaws deployment, using the commander's built-in haste and trample to connect in combat and generate a massive burst of Blood tokens. Once artifacts are on the battlefield, the deck weaponizes them through Jaws's passive trigger and redundant pingers like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, dealing damage to all opponents whenever noncreature artifacts enter, are sacrificed, or are destroyed. Damage doublers and stat enhancers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might multiply these pings into lethal life totals across two to three combat turns. Additionally, asymmetric board wipes like Vandalblast and Meltdown double as lethal win conditions by destroying your own tokens while devastating opposing boards. A backup infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine provides an alternate avenue to close out games.
