Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu Vampire tribal and aristocrats deck commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's Eminence ability from the command zone to generate free 1/1 Vampire creature tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast. By playing a dense curve of efficient one- and two-drop Vampires, the deck rapidly establishes a wide board by Turn 3. It converts this early board presence into a lethal threat on Turn 4 using powerful combat multipliers such as Shared Animosity and Akroma's Will, aristocrat drain engines like Blood Artist and Cruel Celebrant, or an infinite life-drain combo with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. High-impact card advantage from Skullclamp and Necropotence keeps the hand full, while resilient protection spells like Clever Concealment safeguard the army against sweepers. The deck consistently eliminates the table by Turn 5.
