Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure/Dragon value deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The game plan is to generate a critical mass of Treasure tokens, use them to cast spells (drawing cards off Smaug's cast-trigger), and convert the artifact/token engine into table-wide damage through drain payoffs like Marionette Master, Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, and Ingenious Artillerist. The deck also runs two alternate win conditions in Revel in Riches (ten Treasures at upkeep) and Hellkite Tyrant (twenty artifacts at upkeep). A Dragon subtheme - Goldspan Dragon, Ancient Copper Dragon, Cavern-Hoard Dragon - provides both beatdown and additional Treasure generation. This is a midrange grinder: it doesn't combo fast, but it accrues overwhelming artifact-token advantage and drains the table out over several turns.
