Deck overview

Kudo, King Among Bears is a Selesnya go-wide combat deck that turns every creature into a 2/2 Bear and then overwhelms opponents with a dense stack of anthems and +1/+1 counters. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap creatures, use Kudo's base-power setting to make them all Bears, and then pump the team with effects like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Mirari's Wake, and Flowering of the White Tree. Ayula, Queen Among Bears becomes a repeatable trigger because every creature is a Bear, and Champion of Lambholt plus Rogue's Passage make the army unblockable. The deck wins through combat damage, often in a single lethal swing powered by Akroma's Will, Beastmaster Ascension, or Return of the Wildspeaker. It is a straightforward, resilient creature deck with a strong protection suite, but it lacks tutors and recursion, making it vulnerable to board wipes and slow to rebuild.
