Deck overview

This deck is a Temur cascade and exile-matters midrange strategy commanded by Averna, the Chaos Bloom. The primary game plan revolves around casting cascade spells to cheat nonland cards into play while using Averna to put exiled land cards directly onto the battlefield. This generates rapid mana acceleration and card advantage without requiring specific tutors. By Turn 4, the engine is operational, quickly ramping into high-cost threats like Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex Devastator, and Aminatou's Augury. Support permanents like Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald and The Lost and the Damned produce wide creature boards whenever cards are played from exile, while Enduring Courage and Kamahl, Fist of Krosa provide haste and trample overruns. The deck excels at explosive turns and high card velocity, though its reliance on sorcery-speed creature deployment leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and anti-cast stax pieces.
