A Song of Fire and Life by Coomerang

Format: Commander

Commander: Firesong and Sunspeaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros deck uses Firesong and Sunspeaker as a value engine. Red instants and sorceries gain lifelink from the commander, and white spells that gain life trigger the commander to deal 3 damage. The deck amplifies that damage with doublers and triplers and turns board wipes into win conditions. Repercussion with Blasphemous Act or Star of Extinction, Toralf's excess damage, and indestructible redirectors like Brash Taunter and Boros Reckoner provide the main kills. Aetherflux Reservoir and Felidar Sovereign offer alternate life-based wins, while Sunforger and lifegain draw keep the engine running.
