LOTR PRECON by Cmoneyg1

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grixis Amass control. Primary plan: ramp into Sauron, make an Army, turn Army damage into the Ring tempts trigger, then discard to draw four and refuel. Secondary paths: an instant/sorcery chain with Lord of the Nazgul (the hidden commander) to create a 9/9 Wraith army, and a reanimator package that turns looted dragons into Living Death/Extract from Darkness blowouts. Sauron is the engine and warded beatstick; Lord of the Nazgul is the alternate finisher. Scourge of the Throne and Fiery Inscription/Guttersnipe convert a wide board into extra combat damage and burn. Single-faced commander; no double-faced interaction to evaluate.
