Hei Bai provides immediate value by tutoring a Shrine directly onto the battlefield upon entry, while blink effects repeatedly trigger this ability. Pre-game Leylines rapidly increase the enchantment count to accelerate card draw engines and power up pillowfort defenses like Sphere of Safety. The deck closes games by multiplying Shrine triggers with Sanctum of All, burning out opponents with Sanctum of Stone Fangs and Northern Air Temple, or swarming the board with large Spirit armies from Hallowed Haunting and Go-Shintai of Shared Purpose.
