Thorin V1 by user7735558

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros deck executes an aggressive historic and Dwarf tribal strategy helmed by Thorin Oakenshield. The primary plan establishes the storied mechanic quickly by deploying low-cost artifacts, legendary Dwarves, and Sagas to grant board-wide ward protection. Midgame turns leverage equipment cheaters like Thorin, Mountain-king, Stoneforge Mystic, and Kili the Resourceful to attach high-impact weapons such as Colossus Hammer and Excalibur, Sword of Eden without heavy mana investments. The deck wins by delivering lethal combat damage through buffed Dwarf swarms led by Dain of the Ancient Halls and Balin, Loremaster, or by tutoring game-ending threats like Smaug the Magnificent with Magda, Brazen Outlaw.
