Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats and Voltron-burn strategy commanded by Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder. The primary game plan revolves around generating a high volume of Treasure tokens and creature fodder through cards like Pitiless Plunderer, Dockside Extortionist, and Deadly Dispute. Evereth acts as a command-zone sacrifice outlet, converting artifacts and creatures into +1/+1 counters and lifelink at sorcery speed. As Evereth grows into an evasive threat, the deck chips away at opposing life totals in combat while simultaneously assembling aristocrat drain pieces such as Bastion of Remembrance, Falkenrath Noble, and Dreadhound. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through a combination of lethal aerial attacks, power-doubling spells like Bulk Up, and Evereth's built-in death trigger, which deals damage equal to its power to all opponents when sacrificed or killed. While resilient against damage-based wipes and destruction removal, the strategy is vulnerable to mass exile effects and relies heavily on natural card draw due to a lack of unconditional tutors.
