Azula by user2561362

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula helms a high-velocity Grixis burn and spellslinger deck that turns combat into explosive spellcasting turns. Azula produces two red mana upon attacking and automatically copies every spell cast while she is attacking. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cost reducers and magecraft engines, attacking with Azula, and casting copied pump spells, extra combats, or burn spells during combat. Secondary win lines utilize table-wide burn amplifiers like Imodane, the Pyrohammer and Repercussion alongside damage multipliers such as Fiery Emancipation and City on Fire. Once life totals are softened, Neheb, the Eternal or Mana Geyser fuels massive game-ending finishers like Comet Storm.
