Deck overview

This Abzan Lands deck is led by The Necrobloom, turning the commander into both a token-generating Field of the Dead and a continuous graveyard dredge engine. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient 1-2 CMC ramp and land tutors, deploying its commander by Turn 4. From there, it leverages mass land-drop and recursion spells such as Scapeshift, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, and Splendid Reclamation to put massive land packages into play, flooding the board with 2/2 Zombie tokens and huge creatures. Horizon lands and cycling lands provide recurring card velocity through dredge 2, while cards like Six and Life from the Loam provide immense resilience against interaction. The deck closes games around Turn 6 with wide combat damage or an overwhelming Finale of Devastation.
